More than a trip to Phong Nha, this is a journey that unlocks awareness of nature and heritage.
Within a single day, Challenge Journey invites participants to step away from familiar routines and enter the “Kingdom of Caves” — a place where geology, time, and culture come together to tell a story spanning millions of years.
Through interactive challenges, participants not only observe Phong Nha Cave, but also gain a deeper understanding of why this land has been recognized as a UNESCO World Natural Heritage Site, connecting knowledge with experience and transforming each destination into a personal milestone.
06:30 – OPENING MISSION: ACTIVATING CHALLENGE JOURNEY
Players gather at the meeting point in Hue. The Challenge Journey application is activated, unlocking personal accounts and displaying the challenge map for the day.
From this moment, players are clearly positioned not as tourists, but as participants in a knowledge-based journey exploring culture, nature, and heritage through experiential challenges.
07:00 – MORNING MISSION: THE ORIGINS OF CENTRAL VIETNAM
During the transfer from Hue to Quang Binh, players are guided into the cultural landscape of Central Vietnam—where history, geography, and harsh climate have shaped a distinctive regional identity.
Mission 1 – “The Origins of Central Vietnam”
Players answer the unlock question via the application.
Unlock question:
What makes Central Vietnam both a land of dramatic natural landscapes and a region rich in cultural traditions?
Completing the mission unlocks the heritage map and the next experiential checkpoints of the journey.
11:30 – MAIN DESTINATION: PHONG NHA CAVE
Players arrive in Quang Binh, known as the “Kingdom of Caves” in Vietnam. The group explores Phong Nha Cave, a representative limestone cave within the UNESCO-recognized World Natural Heritage complex.
Inside the cave, players observe:
The underground river running through the cave
The stalactite and stalagmite systems formed over millions of years
Changes in light, temperature, and spatial structure
12:15 – MIDDAY MISSION: DECODING THE WONDER
Mission 2 – “Decoding the Wonder”
Players open the mission on the application and respond to questions regarding:
Geological characteristics of Phong Nha Cave
Its role within the Quang Binh cave system
Reasons for UNESCO World Heritage recognition
The mission requires players to connect geological knowledge with natural and cultural values, rather than surface-level observation.
Unlock question:
Why can a cave be more than a natural formation and become a heritage of humanity?
13:30 – LOCAL LUNCH
Players enjoy local Quang Binh cuisine and take time to rest and recover energy after the exploration.
14:30 – FREE EXPLORATION: PHONG NHA AREA
Players have free time to:
Complete remaining mission responses
Capture images of the natural environment
Share personal reflections on the cave and surrounding landscape
This stage allows players to shift from observation to contemplation.
17:00 – FINAL MISSION: “THE COMPLETE TRACE”
On the return journey to Hue, the final mission is unlocked in the Challenge Journey application.
Mission 3 – “The Complete Trace”
Players are required to:
Submit at least one favorite check-in image from the journey
Answer synthesis questions connecting Central Vietnam’s regional context with the Phong Nha experience
Completing this mission certifies the player as having finished the challenge as a Knowledge Explorer.
18:30 – END OF CHALLENGE JOURNEY
Players receive a souvenir after completing all missions in the system.
The Challenge Journey application closes with the message:
“You didn’t just visit Phong Nha – you explored the story of natural heritage.”
